The Third ManOMin Watershed Conference,
Rainy River First Nations and Rainy River Community College are pleased to present the Third ManOMin Watershed Conference to be held Nov. 20, 21 and 22, 2003, at Rainy River Community College in International Falls, Minnesota. The conference name comes from the Anishnaabe word manoomin, or wild rice, a culturally significant food staple. Water sustains us and is the essential ingredient for wild rice growth. It is of utmost importance that we inventory, monitor and rehabilitate areas of concern in its traditional territory, the Rainy River Watershed. To attend the conference please register here.
